Normandy summer trip

Gerald took me out for a walk in his hometown to see the sites. Above some local architecture. We saw some beautiful horses. The sun disappeared so did not get to take any photos.
Gerald in a little alley way under a house.

In the downtown part of town. Yep, we are wearing heavy jackets. It was that cold and then it rained!

This reminded me of Solvang and the parking lot up there.
It rained almost everyday.
There is this saying that it rains twice a week in Normandy. Once for 3 days and once for 4 days.

The following photos are proof that the sun came out for one day...

Harbor on Deauville side with new barge restaurant docked on right.

View from jetty on Deauville side looking over at Trouville. The Touques river separates the two cities Deauville/ Trouville.

The Touques river and the Trouville side. The under construction Fish Market is the first structure you see back beyond the parking lot.

The historic Fish Market in Trouville's temporary location while the permanent one is being rebuilt. It burned down a few years ago. The smells are amazing!
