Chicago Air Show Day 1
Day 1:
Busy, crowded and sunny day.
Ok, so I don't have top of the line gear. I have my little Fuji camera, but with the wind, I mean it felt like a feather in my hands.
I could barely, no make that almost never keep up with the Air Force Thunderbirds.
Then, they had to go fly in over the skyline and I almost dropped the camera.
It was very, very cool.
Way by far one of the most impressive air shows I have ever been to (and I have been to LOTS) due to the setting- sunning on the shores of the lake on a beach blanket and the backdrop of "My Kind Of Town" good ole Chicago "people who smile at you...".
Yes, this was a different kind of air show where we did not shove, we smiled and talked and shared information and stories and radios... it was downright nice!
Ok so this guy thinks he is a hot dawg... well, he is!
And yes, we'd like to think the pilot can hear us, but he can't!
More next time...
Bisous!
