Finally a blog!
I know, I know this is ridiculous. I have not posted anything for wayyy toooo lonnnng.
I honestly don't know where the time has gone. I am still alive and breathing and taking pictures. AND really wanting Spring to come so Summer will!
So, here is a very very super quick small nutshell of a blog.
Gabe came and went.
We ate at the Mauritian restaurant.
Here is my food. Yummy it was!
He will be back.
Cousins! Woo hoo. Walt and Emma came through. It was Walt's birthday. We had some bubbly, foie gras and cake.
Good times, but way too quick.
One day, on my way to work in the rain, I noticed the Champs Elysees was extremely quiet. It was closed!?
Then, I came upon this completely drenched and soaked military band just standing in the middle of the street.
I still don't know why they were there, but this I know, they were very very wet and cold.
One weekend...there was sun! My cousin, his wife and Gerald and I went to Provins.
It is a lovely Medieval town. The sun came out...

The blue sky left... it then promptly rained cats and dogs...then, it snowed!
It was beautiful, but so cold. We finished off driving in the snow back to Paris.
It was a crazy sunny snowy day.
We hope to go back when they have the candle light festival in the summer.
Well, that is the nutshell...I know so much more to tell.
I will try to get another update up tomorrow.

We always enjoy your pix. I haven't figured out exactly why but they make excellent jigsaw puzzles. Thanks!
Good to see you again! That is quite a great-looking dish you had!
It's actually kind of funny. I'm redesigning my design blog right now, and adding a few new categories to it. It got to a point where I needed to add one more category, but couldn't think of what, so after giving it a lot of thought... I decided the category should be food! After all, from a design standpoint, food it just as much a creative medium as paper or the screen.
Oh, and after looking at that town gate, and the ramparts, I wonder how many people have compared those towns to the gated communities that get so much academic criticism in the States. I'm sure there's a fascinating paper about it somewhere!
