crazy cousin fun!

I went to Paulette's after running around again trying to locate my internet box! This is getting ridiculous!
My cousin called me and said he wanted to go to the Presidential Palace Saturday, today instead of Sunday. So, we did!
After a 5 hour wait... we got in the courtyard to take our traditional tourist shots.
Amelie and I with some of the presidential cars.
The new one woo hoo!
Nice Mr. President!
What a nice banqueting hall!
We saw sooooo much. I took almost 200 photos! Those will go up later after a careful selective process.

After we headed off to Versailles where we went straight to the King's garden for a fun luminous, mysterious night adventure for our senses! Lights, misters and strange sounds and music mesmerized our senses. I took many pictures too...but again have to go through them! I will even try to get some video up if I can!

This is my "I have been watching too much of the show 'Heroes' photo!"

:-)

Amelie snapped this of me standing in front of one of the gates with a huge red light shining on me. In person the effect was quite cool. I had to wait patiently for several little boys who were making grimaces with me to leave so I could have my shot at the fun! You can't see my face unfortuately... I made a nice one! FINALLY! I found a margarita in a margarita glass! Leave it to my cousin to know where to take me!
Woo hoo!
Yes, yes! YES! The recipe wasn't that bad either... just missing the Jose Cuervo... still looking for that one.
This is what happens when you play who can stand the most salt on their tongue. Cousin won hands down. I only did half the rim. Hey the chips were salty ok. I couldn't handle the whole rim of the glass.
Ok what is the problem here?!
Why are their green beans in my fajitas? Excuse me where are the green bell peppers?

Ok so they got the margaritas mostly right but, the fajitas!?!?!
Well, that was definitely a new experience for this So. Cal. girl!

We walked back to Versailles for the fireworks and another run through the mist in the dark with the awesome music very very cool. To note for next year!

Am now resting before heading out to the aerospace museum.... more fun!

bisous

Hey Grace, I didn't have your email offhand so I figured this was a good place to catch you. We're going to be in Neuchatel at the end of November. We get there on the 17th and leave December 1st. I was hoping we can sneak over to Paris for a weekend or something during that time. Is there a time you'll be around, we'd love to see you! My email is skibre@gmail.com.

- Sue, bringing Nick and Wini of course!
