blogger woes...
Hello from cloudy, gloomy Paris.
Well, I was told right...Paris is quieter in August. Many, many people have left/ are leaving. I took one of my friends to the train station today and it was mayhem. That is where all the people went! They are exiting the city.
The streets are so quiet. Now, in my neighborhood, I can cross the streets on red lights...normally it can be dangerous even on pedestrian green!
I am loving being able to actually sit down in the metro BUT I must remind myself this is only temporary and in a few weeks it will be back to standing room only! It is so hard to read that way. I have several times been able to read someone else's book better then mine due to spacing.
One of the drawbacks that I did not foresee is that some of my favourite restaurants, boutiques are closed as the owners/workers are on holiday. So, now I am exploring other new places.
We still have a ton of work as some clients stayed over to work on their English several days a week.
The job is going great and I am learning a lot.
Back to today... I got some great photos as I went on a small tour of the 14th today but, blogger and I are just not getting along right now.
I will try to upload later...
